Bone and Bead Bracelet Batiked $12.50
Bone and bead stretch bracelet in traditional Kenyan designs. Some designs are "batiked" where hot wax is painted on the carved bone, the piece dyed dark, and the wax removed, resulting in a permanent, striking design resembling African textiles. Other pieces are dyed and then etched. The outside circumference is approximately 8 inches. Sold individually, designs will vary.
Checked Bone Mother of pearl Votive Holder $22.50
Small squares of bone alternating black and white and accented with squares of mother-of-pearl enables this contemporary votive holder to make a statement. The holder is 3.5 inches square and 0.75 inches tall. Candle not included.

Bone Napkin Rings (Set of 6) $18.20
Made in Kenya, these napkin rings are made of bone that has been "batiked" by painting wax on the rings and dying them. The results are African patterns resembling mud cloth and animal prints. Each set of 6 napkin rings will be the same pattern. Sizes will vary.

Top: Rim around wick hole. Candlestick or menorah with a three leg base, on nozzle. Linear band around shoulders. Two rims around filling hole. Wick hole still has characteristic black coloring of used oil lamps.
